We’re Dallas and Chris — brothers-in-law, terrible golfers, and founders of the USBGA.

One random Thursday night we wanted a beer and decided to try a local golf simulator. Two hours, an unfinished round at Pebble Beach, and three buckets of beers later, we each walked out $90 lighter. We were the only golfers there. The atmosphere felt cold and stale. On the ride home we agreed: “That was awesome… but we could’ve gotten our asses kicked at Broad Run for less, with a cart.” Something felt off. Golf is expensive. Hitting into a screen shouldn’t cost as much as real greens fees.

Months later, at Dallas’s bachelor party in the Poconos, rain forced eight of us into one simulator room. It was crowded, but we still had a blast — $40 a person for 9 holes. Those two experiences planted the seed for the USBGA — we just didn’t know it yet. We started asking: How can we deliver an indoor golf experience that’s more fun and more affordable… and bring it straight to the bars where people already gather?

Our mission is simple: Create a memorable indoor golf experience that’s affordable, competitive, and fun — and deliver real value to both our bar partners and our players.

After countless hours of research, testing (and returning gear) in the garage, we built a mobile setup we’re extremely proud of. USBGA gives you access to more than 40,000 courses — from local favorites like French Creek, Broad Run, and Rolling Green all the way to Aronimink, Augusta, and Pebble Beach. You get accurate swing data, reliable reads, and video playback of club impact so you can see exactly how you striped it… or flubbed it. The quality even surprised us.

Partnering with great local bars and restaurants means climate-controlled golf year-round, great food and drinks right there, and an energy you can’t get anywhere else. Supporting local bars is core to our mission. Chris grew up in the restaurant business — his dad ran restaurants and bars — so he knows the grind. USBGA is a proud partner of every one of them, and we can’t wait to tee it up.

USBGA is more than a league. It’s a welcoming community where you’ll spend a couple of hours a week with friends (old and new), hopefully shave a few strokes, compete, grab a beer and a bite, and make it a regular night out. After 2020 showed how easily connection can disappear, we want to bring people back together at the bars — face to face, laughing, cursing, and occasionally cheering a pure shot.

We reject the idea that golf should stay exclusive or out of reach. You don’t need a big budget or to be anyone other than yourself to feel the joy of sticking a dart from 130 yards. Whether you’re a +2 handicap or you’ve never hit a ball but have always wanted to — you belong. Come as you are. Bring friends. Make new ones. Improve a little (or a lot). No pressure, no pretension. Just good people, local bars, great simulators, and the chance to chase that one pure shot.

Welcome to the USBGA. We’re glad you’re here.
